The Aquarius/Pisces New Moon on the 19th February 2015 is the 2nd of 6 Super Moons for the year. What this means is that the Moon is both perigree (closest to the Earth) as well as syzygy (in alignment with the Sun and the Earth). A Super Moon generates greater gravitational electromagnetic influence. We will experience its effects on changing tides and our emotional and physical bodies and it can facilitate shifts in consciousness (especially due to the signs involved as well as the build-up of the last Uranus square Pluto energy).
Why is it an Aquarian/Pisces New Moon? The exact New Moon occurs at 29°59’ in Aquarius and 2’ or 2 minutes later in real time moves into Pisces. This transition in energy is a chance for us to expand our identity as members of the human race (communicative group energy) to the integrative and transcendental energy of Pisces (which was very much the essence of my opening discussion in the header email). During this Super New Moon we are handed the portal to surrender our minds and separateness and drop into our hearts, feelings and oneness of all.
Stephanie Austin quotes Marianne Williamson in the Feb/March 2015 edition of The Mountain Astrologer.
This New Moon reveals “Love is what we are born with. Fear is what we learn. The spiritual journey is the unlearning of fear and prejudices and the acceptance of love back in our hearts. Love is the essential reality and our purpose on earth.” (p.95)
Well written. Thank you
Thanks once again for connecting me to the universe. Loved the quote at the end.
I also loved the quote at the end.
When ever I look at the full Moon, I think of you Nancy.
